2. The Service

WorthThePump is a free fuel savings calculator that tells UK drivers whether driving to a cheaper petrol station is worth it, factoring in their vehicle's fuel consumption and the detour distance. The Service is provided free of charge and without registration.

3. Accuracy of data

Fuel prices displayed on WorthThePump are sourced from the UK Government Fuel Finder API and are updated approximately every hour. Prices are provided for guidance only. Actual prices at the forecourt may differ from those displayed. Always verify the price at the pump before filling up.

Vehicle fuel consumption figures are derived from the DVLA VES API and/or the Vehicle Certification Agency dataset. Real-world fuel economy varies with driving conditions, vehicle condition, and driver behaviour. The MPG figures displayed are estimates.

Fuel savings calculations are mathematical estimates based on the data inputs described above. Actual savings will vary. WorthThePump accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of calculations provided by the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape excessively, or overload the Service
Use automated systems to make excessive API requests
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual property

The WorthThePump name, logo, and all content on this website (excluding third-party data) is owned by B2bee Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

Fuel price data is supplied by the UK Government Fuel Finder API under the Open Government Licence. Vehicle specification data is derived from DVLA and VCA public datasets.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. B2bee Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on the fuel price or savings calculations provided.

7. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
